Playback capability of CD-R discs This unit can play back music data recorded in CD-R (Compact Disc Recordable) as well as audio CD (CD-DA). However, some CD-R discs may not be playable on this CD player. Also note that a CD-R disc which has not been finalized cannot be played back. Playback capability of MP3 files This unit can play back disc media containing MP3 files.
