4.0 Installation 4.6 Input wiring You may use 1/4" phone jacks, XLR connectors, and quick connect terminal block connectors for the input signal with either unbalanced 2-conductor or balanced 3-conductor cables. 4.0 Installation For the XLR, pin 2 carries the + (hot, non-inverting) side of the signal, and pin 1 is ground. English 4.0 Installation 4.7 Input sensitivity The amplifier input sensitivity is set to 0.775V rms for rated output. 4.0 Installation 4.8 Output wiring Use heavy gauge wire for speaker connections. The greater the distance between the amplifier and the speakers, the larger the diameter the wire should be. This will minimize power losses across the wire and improve damping of the speaker. Wire thickness specifications (gauges) get larger as the wire gets thinner.
