Using Your System Arming/Locking Pressing for one second will arm the system and lock the doors. The red LED will begin to flash once per second. The Failsafe® Starter Kill will prevent the vehicle’s starter from crank- ing if it has been installed. If connected, the vehicle's horn will honk and the parking lights will flash once to confirm arming of the system. Disarming/Unlocking To disarm the system and unlock the doors of the vehicle, press for one second. The Failsafe® Starter Kill will be deactivated and the vehicle’s horn (if connected) will honk twice. The parking lights will also flash twice (if connected). The red LED will go out, unless the system is programmed for passive mode. If programmed for passive mode, the LED will begin to flash rapidly when the sys- tem is disarmed.
