1.3 Management There are three different methods by which a user can manage the switch: web, console/telnet, or SNMP. 1.3.1 Web-Based Interface Users can configure the switch, monitor the LED panel, and display statistics graphically with Netscape Navigator browser version 4.0 or higher and Microsoft IE version 4.01 or higher. With Internet access, users can link directly to the local switch’s home page. Detailed description is found in Chapter 3 Web-Based Management.
