Section 2 Hardware Installation 2.4 Cascading / Daisy Chaining of multiple KVM Switches The P16-IP can be cascaded with LINDY P-Series CPU switches only. It should not be used with LINDY PXT-Series CPU Switches. For all cascaded installations, the P16-IP should always be used as the MASTER switch. Section 3 KVM Switch Operation 3.1 KVM Switch Operation Important note: Your monitor will only display one PC signal at any one time. All keyboard and mouse commands are sent to this PC only. To send commands to the KVM switch, the “SCROLL LOCK” key must be pressed twice within 2 seconds. You will hear a beep to confirm that the keyboard is in hotkey mode.
