Take all necessary precautions to anchor the rack securely before installing the unit. Step 1. VES-1000 Series Ethernet Switch Figure 2-2 Mounting the VES-1008 in a Rack 2.2.3 Wall Mounted The VES-1008 is designed so that it can be mounted on a wall if the need arises. The following is needed in order to mount the VES-1008 on a wall: • Two mounting brackets (supplied). • Eight M3 flat head screws (supplied) and a #2 Philips screwdriver. • Four M5 flat head screws and a #2 Philips screwdriver.
