Receiving Calls When the telephone connected to the Caller ID rings, new call information appears between the first and second ring. If you answer before the second ring, the Caller ID will not display any information. When a call is received, the Caller ID displays a call record, which can include, if available, the name of the caller, the caller’s telephone number, and the time that the call was placed.
