To turn the fan on and have it run continuously, make sure that OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS the TIMER knob is pointed towards on, and that one of the 3 (FOR REMOTE VERSION) speed control buttons (I for Low, II for Medium, and III for High) are pressed down.
