CONNECTIONS 3. CONNECTIONS The VSI-Pro will overlay the characters on any input video source. The video input can be virtually any baseband or composite video source. The VSI-Pro will accept NTSC, RS-170, RS-330, CCIR, PAL or SECAM video formats. The Video input to the VSI-Pro is a standard BNC connector, terminated at 75 [ohms]. NOTE  The input video level must be 1[V] Peak to Peak. If this level is not maintained within +/- 20%, the VSI-Pro will have difficulty locking the character display

USER FRONT PANEL CONTROLS 4. USER FRONT PANEL CONTROLS The VSI-Pro is programmed by pressing and releasing specific combinations of the four front panel push- buttons. PROGRAMMING 5.1 GETTING STARTED To access the main-menu of the VSI-Pro, simultaneously hold down the “Down” & “Up” buttons and press and release the “Reset” button and then release the “Down” & “Up” buttons. This will take you to the main programming menu. To navigate through this menu, simply use the “Down” and “Up” buttons to position the cursor in front of the desired function, then press “Set” to access that function.
