SAVE ALL REMOVED PARTS FOR USE DURING REASSEMBLY

1. Gently tip the chair on its back (Fig.1).

1. Using a 10-mm wrench, turn the metal footrest rod nut
counter-clockwise to detach the rod from the spacer barrel,

INSTALLING THE NEW FOOTREST ROD Screw 1. Remove the screw from the top of the black plastic spacer barrel (Fig.3). 2. Align the spacer barrel with the corresponding hole on the bracket, then secure it using the screw Bracket you removed in the previous step and the 4 mm (5/32") Allen Key (Fig.4). 3.
