Introduction Chapter Overview The LIB-81 is an AIT (Advanced Intelligent Tape) library with a built-in AIT drive. Up to 8 cartridges can be set and used. The unit can also be connected to, and used with, a workstation or server. Up to 8 cartridges can be set Up to 8 AIT cartridges can be set. Cartridges can be replaced from the front panel. Before installing the library, make sure that the surface on which you are placing it is large and strong enough.
