1 • Introduction Postal Requirements Your postage meter is issued under the oversight of the Canada Post Corporation (CPC) and you must follow some basic requirements. • Mail must have the correct date and postage amount in the me- ter stamp (indicia). • Metered mail must bear the postal code of the address where the postage meter is located and mail processed. • If you move the postage meter to another postal code location, you must update postal code.
