AXIS 211W - Using the Network Camera Accessing the AXIS 211W from the Internet Once configured, your AXIS 211W is accessible on your local network (LAN). To access the camera from the Internet, network routers must be configured to allow incoming traffic, which is usually done on a specific port. The settings affects the available bandwidth and the audio quality, i.e. a high bit rate setting requires more bandwidth.
