LEARNING THE BASICS TURNING YOUR SMARTPHONE ON/OFF You can use the organizer features of your Treo 700w smartphone independently of the wireless features and applications. In other words, the screen and phone are designed to be turned off and on separately. NOTE To conserve battery power, the screen turns off automatically after one minute. If you want the screen to stay on longer, you can adjust the shutoff setting. Press Start, select Settings, select the System tab, and then select Power.

Press Right , Left , Up , or Down to move to the next field, button, or action in that direction. ■ Press and hold Option while pressing Up or Down to Scroll arrows scroll one screen at a time. Closing screens To accept the information you entered on a screen and to return to the previous screen, do one of the following: ■ Press OK . ■ Use the stylus to tap or in the upper-right corner of the screen. Action keys activate the items that appear directly above them on the screen.
