Setting Up Service Setting Up Your Phone 1. Install the battery (if necessary). n Slide the battery cover latch into its unlock position and slide the battery cover downward to remove it. n Insert the battery into the opening, making sure the connectors align. Getting Started With Sprint Service Determining If Your Phone Is Already Activated If you purchased your phone at a Sprint Store, it is probably activated, unlocked, and ready to use. If you received your phone in the mail, it probably has been activated; all you need to do is unlock it. (See page 5.) Setting Up Your Voicemail All unanswered calls to your phone are automatically transferred to your voicemail, even if your phone is in use or turned off.
