Doing so may cause malfunctions or damage the image sensor. • When using the camera on a beach or at a windy location, be careful not to allow dust or sand to enter the camera. Opening the LCD Monitor You can use the LCD monitor to compose pictures before shooting, operate menus or play back images. Open the LCD Monitor. Setting the Date and Time The Date/Time settings screen will appear the first time the camera is turned on.
