TAKING FLASH PICTURES In dim light, such as indoors or outdoors in heavy shade or on dark overcast days, you need flash. Your camera features automatic flash that fires when you need it. Using the Red-Eye Reduction Some people’s eyes (and some pets’) can reflect flash with a red glow. To minimize red eyes in flash or fill-flash pictures, use the red-eye reduction. 1.
