First, charge the battery prior to use. Note that the battery of a newly purchased camera is not charged. Perform the steps below to load the battery into the camera and charge it. • Your camera requires a special CASIO rechargeable lithium ion battery (NP-120) for power. To replace the battery 1. Open the battery cover and remove Stopper the current battery. To charge using a USB connection to a computer The battery loaded in the camera is charged whenever the camera is connected directly to a computer with the USB cable. • Depending on the setup of your computer, you may not be able to charge the camera’s battery over a USB connection.
