Installing the Card and Related Hardware If you want to install this Plug and Play (PnP) card in a non-PnP environment such as DOS/Windows 3.1x or Windows 95 MS-DOS Mode, you must first install a PnP configuration manager. To test your DRAM upgrade: 1. Make sure you have installed the audio card’s software. (The installation of the software will be covered in the next two chapters.) 2.
