Preparation CHANGING THE REMOTE ACCESS CODE The remote access feature allows you to access the answering system from a touch-tone phone. The remote access code is preset to 500, but you can change it to any three-digit number from 500 to 999. SETTING THE TAD TO ANSWER CALLS To set the TAD to answer calls, press ON/OFF. The TAD announces “The machine is on” and the number of recorded messages appears.
