The engine must be filled with the correct grade of oil and petrol before starting the engine. Oil Type Always use high quality detergent oil classified SAE 30 oil. Never use additives with recommended oil. To prolong the life of your engine it is important that the oil is changed after the first 5 hours of use - refer to ‘Maintenance

(2) Pull the stop lever back against the handlebar at the same time, and hold in position. 1 Disengage Cutterblade Drive. (1) Release the stop lever and it will return to its rest position.
