Adjusting the Playback Speed (DPC Function) The DPC (Digital Pitch Control) function allows you to increase or decrease the playback speed. When playing back a tape with 2.4cm/s tape speed such as a 4-track tape, the playback speed will be adjusted from approximately +100% to 0%. When playing back a tape with 4.8cm/s tape speed, the playback speed will be adjusted from approximately +100% to –50%.
