OVERVIEW TM This user manual will help you set up and use your Philips manufactured DIRECTV PLUS Satellite Receiver. MODES Your Satellite Receiver has four modes: • Standby - Satellite Receiver is on but inactive; television is off. • TV - displays television programming. • Guide - for viewing schedules and tuning to a program. • Menu - for setting preferences and access codes. PREPARING YOUR REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY INSTALLATION Remove the battery compartment cover. Insert the two batteries (type LR6/AA - 1.5 V) supplied. Position them, as shown in the diagram, in the battery compartment. Replace the cover.
