Your local RadioShack store sells a va- riety of antennas. Choose the one that best meets your needs. When deciding on a mobile or base-station antenna and its loca- tion, consider these points: • The antenna should be as high as possible on the vehicle or building. •

This is handy for quickly finding active frequencies instead of searching through an entire band (see “Searching the Service Banks” on Page 28).
