How to Prepare The Machine for Operation Model SPS-28B - Battery Powered 1. Before starting the SPS-28B lift the battery box cover and make sure the battery cables are connected. 2. Place all controls in "NEUTRAL". 3. Turn OFF/ON switch to "ON" position. (Switch is located on left side, below hourmeter. Engage the side broom in "SWEEP" position by grasping the head assembly, pulling forward and rotating downward until the pin in the arm assembly is against the stop on the locating collar.
