When driving down an incline, do so by setting the speed adjustment dial to the slowest setting and driving in the forward direction only. II. SAFETY FREEWHEEL MODE Your scooter is equipped with a manual freewheel lever that, when engaged, allows the scooter to be pushed. For more information about how to place your scooter into and out of freewheel mode, see III. “Your Scooter.” WARNING! When your scooter is in freewheel mode, the braking system is disengaged.
