SIM card When you register as a subscriber with a network operator, you get a SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card. The SIM card keeps track of your phone number, the services included in your subscription, and your phonebook information, among other things. If you have been using a SIM card in another phone, make sure that your information is saved to the SIM card before you remove it from the other phone. Assembling your phone Insert the SIM card, attach and charge the battery and turn on your phone. Insert the SIM card and battery 1 Gently pull the cover away from the phone. 2 Insert the SIM card. Charge the battery 1 Connect the charger to the phone. The red battery charging lamp is on during charging. 2 It may take up to 30 minutes before the battery icon appears on the display. 3 Wait approximately 2.5 hours or until the battery icon indicates that the battery is fully charged.
