For example, the base set might not offer the CLIP (number) display function or it may support another protocol, or it may not have a compatible callers list (saving incoming calls in memory). Butler 1800T 4.13 Caller Identification This service is only available if you have the number display (CLIP) service on your trunk line and if your base set supports this number display function. Your telephone company has to activate this function. If you receive an external call, the phone number of the caller appears on the display.
