Preparation INSTALLING BATTERIES/ SETUP You need three AAA batteries (not sup- plied) to power your Caller ID (CID). For the longest operation and best perfor- mance, we recommend alkaline batteries, available at your local RadioShack store. Caution: If you do not plan to use the CID for a month, remove the batteries. Batter- ies can leak chemicals that can destroy electronic parts. Notes: • Before you replace the batteries, have fresh ones on hand.
