BASIC SCANNER OPERATIONS 1.1 Turning the Scanner ON ■ Power Save Mode The Power Save mode keeps the scanner in a low-powered state if no operation is performed on the scanner for 15 minutes after it has been turned on. The scanner is automatically switched to the Power Save mode. 1 In the Power Save mode, the indication of the Function Number Display on the operator panel goes out, while the green LED is kept lit.
