                        Inserting the battery         2. Getting Started     This section covers only basic functions. See later chapters   for details about advanced functions.    2.1 Installing the batteries  The camera can use either standard two AA alkaline   Batteries or one CRV3 lithium battery (shown).    Note: Installing the batteries incorrectly could damage   the camera.    1. Open the battery door.              2.                                 2.4 Before you start  Before you use your camera, there are some basic settings  you should adjust.    2.4.1 Setting the date and time  To set the date and time:  1. Turn the camera on as described on page 7.  2. Press the menu button to  display the menu screen.              3. Move the joystick to the right  to select the tools menu.          4. Use the joystick to highlight  the date and time option.  Press the joystick when the  option is highlighted.
