• Charging the Battery One piece Lithium Ion rechargeable battery is supplied with the product. Please fully charge the battery for up to ten hours before you use the battery for the first time after purchase, and it takes about 4 hours to fully recharge the battery. • Inserting the Battery into the Camera 1. Open the camera battery door by pushing it outwards as illustrated. 2. Insert the battery as shown, ensuring you follow the +/- signs that are shown on outside of the battery door. 3. Push the battery in the slot till the blue tab locks it into place. 4. Close the battery door by pressing it downwards then slide it back to lock. 5. To remove the battery, slide the blue tab towards the battery door hinge and pull the battery pack out. You can use both

The zoom lens will extend when you turn on the camera in Still image mode/Macro mode/Video mode. • Connecting the AC Adaptor Turn off the camera before connecting or disconnecting the adaptor. Connect the adaptor as shown to power the camera from a household power outlet. The camera automatically switches over to the AC adaptor powered operation when connecting with the AC adaptor and the icon will appear on the LCD screen. • Camera Modes The camera has five working modes. You can select the mode you prefer by turning the Mode dial located on the top of your camera.
