                          b) For rear venting:  Unscrew the rectangular plastic vent portion at the back of the hood.  {Fig.4}  Turn the vent piece over so that the flat surface is facing you.  Cut along the  indented outline until there is a 3¼” X 10” opening.                               Changing the Light Bulb    1) Make sure all control switches are off and range hood is unplugged. CAUTION:  Wait until  light is cool to the touch before changing.  2) Use a flat head screwdriver to pop out the protective covering.  3) Gently pull out the defective halogen light and discard.
