Chapter 1: Managing the Switch Configuration Options The CheetahSwitch Workgroup-4508 provides a menu-driven system configuration program that can be accessed through a direct console connection or modem connection to the serial port on the switch’s rear panel (out-of-band), or by a Telnet connection over the network (in-band).
