Inserting the Batteries The camera is powered by two AA-size alkaline batteries or rechargeable NiMH (min. 1600 mAh / 1.2V) batteries. 1 Open the battery cover. Inserting the Memory Card You can use SD Card or MMC Card with this digital camera. The memory card slot is located beneath the battery cover, adjacent to the battery compartment. 1 Open the battery cover. Setting the Display Language / Date & Time When using the camera for the first time after purchasing, be sure to choose a language and set the date & time before using the camera.
