                          Locking/Unlocking the VSI Joystick    LOCK MODE: The VSI controller can be locked to prevent  unauthorized use. The locking method is achieved through a  sequence of key presses and joystick movements, as detailed below.                           Both left and right sides must be in drive mode for power chair to  operate. Otherwise the Powerchair will flash fault code of 9 lights  and will not operate.
