Your remote control is powered either by a miniature 12V battery, type GP23A, or a lightweight 3-volt lithium battery, both of which will last approx- imately one year under normal use. Using Your System The remote button numbers in this manual correspond to the standard configuration unless otherwise specified. Remember, this is not the only way your transmitters can be programmed. Here’s how Nuisance Prevention Circuitry works: The alarm triggers three times. Each time, the same sensor or switch is triggering the alarm. The three triggers activate within 60 minutes of each other. NPC will interpret this pattern of triggers as false alarms. Diagnostics The microprocessor at the heart of your system is constantly mon- itoring all of the switches and sensors connected to it.
