Getting Started Installing the Batteries Battery Installation The eMap operates on two AA batteries, which are installed by removing the cover on the back of the unit. These >?@+,,++,'8&'0"$ ++++++6&##$%0$1 batteries will provide up to 12 hours of continuous use. Rechargeable NiCad, NiMH, or Lithium batteries may be also used. Getting Started Using the Map Page to Navigate Using the Map Page The Map Page provides graphic display for the four methods of eMap navigation: Goto - A direct path to a map location, (waypoint, city, address, etc.) A Goto Track - A previous path of travel that has been stored (logged) in the eMap. Getting Started Speed, Distance and Time Fields Using the Speed - Your rate of travel can be displayed in miles Map Page per hour, kilometers per hour, or nautical miles per hour.
