Model GXT5000 Series BATTERY INSTALLATION Your GXT5000 Series radio can be fitted with the 2200mAh Li-ion battery pack. To install the battery pack: 1. With the back of the radio facing you, insert the bottom part of the Li-ion battery pack to the bottom of the radio. 2. Push down the Li-ion battery pack into the radio until the Battery Lock Tab locks into place. To remove the battery pack: 1. The Desktop Charger can charge both one radio and a separate Li-ion battery pack at the same time. To charge using a Desktop Charger: 1.Insert the AC adapter plug into the desktop charger jack.
