Connecting a PSTN Landline Connect the incoming PSTN landline to the modular jack labeled “PSTN” on the C3 unit. If a PSTN landline is present, the GSM network is used to backup the PSTN telephone service. If the landline service is unavailable, the GSM network will be used. Making Calls To make a phone call, simply pick up a connected telephone and listen for a dial tone. Whenever a connected phone is taken off-hook, the In Use Indicator is illuminated.
