INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS Selecting a Location Before choosing a location for your new phone, here are some important guidelines you should consider: The location should be close to both a phone jack and a power outlet. INSTALLATION & ADJUSTING CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK Initial battery charging Before connecting your the phone for the first time, fully charge the rechargeable battery pack for 15-20 hours without interruption. 1. Place the handset on the base (facing up or down). 2. Make sure that charge LED lights. If the LED doesn’t light, be sure the AC adaptor is plugged in and the handset makes good contact with the base charge charging contacts. 15
