Chapter 2 About the IronPoint 250 Overview Foundry’s IronPoint 250 is an IEEE 802.11a/g enterprise wireless access point that provides high- speed data communications between the wired LAN and fixed, portable or mobile devices equipped with an 802.11a, 802.11b, or 802.11g wireless network card. About the IronPoint 250 Description of Hardware Ethernet Port The access point has one 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX RJ-45 Ethernet port that can be attached directly to a 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX/1000BASE-T wired network.
