Operating Procedures 2 Operating Procedures Charging This printer is equipped with a built-in lithium ion battery. Use the AC adapter designed specifically for this printer to charge the battery. • In order to protect the circuitry, the battery cannot be charged if the unit is in a location exposed to extremely high or extremely low temperatures. • Do not wind the AC adapter cable around the adapter or bend the cable, otherwise the cable may be dam- aged. • It takes approximately three hours for the battery to be recharged from completely empty to fully charged (with the printer turned off). 4
