If the deep fryer overheats, the safety thermal cut-out switch will automatically discontinue the power to the heating element. This can happen if the fryer is not filled with sufficient oil or the solid frying fat is not melted in the fryer. BEFORE USE 1. Before using the deep fryer for the first time, the individual parts must be cleaned using warm water and dried thoroughly (see Care and Maintenance). OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Frying 1. Switch on the fryer. 2. Set the thermostat to the desired temperature setting. 3. Within 10 to 15 minutes, the oil or fat will be heated to the selected temperature and the indicator light will turn off. 4.
