INSTALLING YOUR HORIZONTAL TOASTER Tools you will need for installation: • Drill and 1/4” drill bit • Phillips screwdriver • Hammer/Nail to start a drill hole • Adhesive tape • Eye Protection Goggles • Newspaper to cover counter tops (optional) Flush bottom-1A First, determine if your cabinet has a flush bottom or overhang bottom. 8. Press the Bracket inward and forward toward the front of the cabinet until it stops. Tighten the screw/nut assem- bly with a screwdriver until the Bracket just touches the bottom of the cabinet. MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR CABINET WITH OVERHANG If your cabinet has an overhang — a lip extending below the bottom of the cabinet shelf — follow these simple mounting instructions. 1. Empty your cabinet of its contents before starting to drill. Clean the underside of the cabinet to remove any grease or other residue. 2. To determine whether you need Illustration 2 to use Spacer Bars to mount your Horizontal Toaster, use the Cabinet Overhang Ruler on your Mounting Template and measure the cabine

the folded grey strip is against the back of the cabinet overhang. Tape the Mounting Template securely in place. Check to be sure the Mounting Template is located where you plan to mount the toaster. NOTE: If the cabinet has an overhang that extends more than 2 inches below the cabinet bottom, a wooden shim (a piece of wood that fits between the Cabinet and the Bracket) will be necessary.
