Unloading tape cartridges To unload a tape cartridge, perform the following steps. 1. Make sure that the 100/200 GB HH LTO Internal Tape Drive is turned on. 2. Press the Unload button. The drive rewinds the tape and places the tape cartridge in the unload position. The status light will flash green while the tape rewinds, and then turn off when the cartridge is ejected from the drive. 3.
