CHAPTER1 GETTING STARTED Power on and off POWER ON AND OFF The power switch is located on the left side of the copier. When the power switch is turned to the “ON” position, the message “WARMING UP. PLEASE WAIT.” will appear in the message display. Warming Power on up takes about 65 seconds for the AR-287/337 and about 75 seconds for the AR-407. CHAPTER1 GETTING STARTED Power on and off POWER ON AND OFF Power save modes The copier has two power save modes to reduce overall power consumption and thereby reduce the cost of operation and to conserve natural resources to help reduce environmental pollution.
