Rail Assembly WARNING: DO NOT RUN OPENER UNTIL INSTRUCTED TO DO SO! Step One: Rail Assembly Pre-position parts for assembly. Bolt a splice bracket to the motor head assembly and bolt the intermediate rails to the same splice bracket, using 5/16” x 1/2” carriage bolts and 5/16” lock washer nuts. Step Four: Setting The Chain Pull the chain assembly to the front rail bracket. Insert the “U” bolt through the holes in the front rail bracket and fasten with two 5/16” lock washer nuts. Step 3: Attach Unit to Front Wall Bracket Raise the front end of the opener and attach it to the front wall bracket, using the ¼” x 4” hex head bolt and the supplied ¼” plastic insert nut.
