6 BYPASSING ZONES A “bypassed” sensor will not cause an alarm. Sensors may be bypassed to allow access to part of the premises while other sensors remain armed. For example, you could bypass the motion sensor protecting your living room, while the sensor protecting the Entry/Exit Door remains armed. 9 REPLACING BATTERIES From time to time, the batteries in the Sensors and other components on your system will need to be changed.
