12 QUICK START QUICK START CONSIDERATIONS Your B&K preamplifier is pre-programmed for ease of operation right out of the box. In general, there is minimal setup required to start using your new A/V preamplifier. 15 HARDWARE CONNECTIONS SURROUND OUTPUT CONNECTIONS Your B&K preamplifier has two types of surround outputs: balanced (XLR) outputs and coaxial (RCA) outputs.
